reTOLD is recruiting!
We are currently looking for Columbia University students (any year, any school, any gender) to participate in “reTOLD: an oral history project”. Successful applicants will be accepted to the reTOLD board, which will be responsible for selecting women leaders, researching their backgrounds, and interviewing them to gather their oral histories for archiving in the Columbia University Oral History Research Office, and for podcasting and blogging to the general public. The reTOLD project could also lead to a published book.
Responsibilties include:
- attending a weekly team meeting to report on progress
- participating in a 1/2 day training to learn how to gather oral histories
- conducting independent research on a woman leader of your choice
- contacting and interviewing contemporary women leaders
